Donna Schlatter has been a member of PCGS since 1984. During her membership she has had many PCGS board member positions: President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, and Publication Director. Donna became interested in genealogy in high school when she found a pedigree chart her older sister had made. But she really pursued her genealogy interests after college where she received a Bachelors in Psychology.
Donna and her husband Jeff have published 10 Generations of Collinsons and are currently preparing a 3rd edition. Besides her leadership positions on the PCGS Board of Directors, Donna has also presented programs on photo cropping and photo dating. She also presented beginner genealogy classes with Fred Katko. Donna has traveled to the Newberry Library, Fort Wayne Library and Iowa for her genealogy research. Donna with her husband Jeff were 2009 recipients of the Illinois State Genealogical Society Civic Award for their years of service to PCGS.
Donna retired in 2014 from her work as a drapery seamstress. She had done alterations for over 25 years and was a child care teacher for over 25 years.
