Born and raised in Peoria, nominee Randy Couri has been a PCGS member since 2013. During that time, he served two terms as PCGS board president. Randy has also presented at both PCGS and other area genealogy and historical societies with focus of his knowledge in and expertise in Lebanese American history, genealogy, and immigration research.
As a member of The Itoo Society, Randy currently sits on its Board of Directors and is past president of the Men’s Branch. Randy has been married to his wonderful wife, Mary, for thirty-seven years and they have two adult children: Maggie and John, and a four-year-old granddaughter named Lizzie. Randy writes prolifically about his Lebanese background and family history. He is a retired electrician and serves as genealogist and historian of the Peoria County Lebanese community.
