Trisha Triff Noack did her first family trees as a child with her Dad and has never looked back. She earned a degree in journalism, then a Masters of Liberal Studies from Bradley University.

Her career included advertising, marketing, fundraising, teaching and project management and she worked for, among others, La Leche League International, the Peoria Housing Authority and Peoria Opportunities Foundation in management roles. Trisha retired from Peoria Public Library after 15 years as Public Relations Manager.

Her experiences include serving on the boards of several not for profits as well as a 40 year passion for living history and historically accurate costuming that took her and her late husband and their children around the country portraying time periods from the colonial period through World War I. Trisha finds those experiences and research into history has greatly expanded her understanding and appreciation for genealogy, letting her “live the part” of her ancestors. Her latest passion is solving family mysteries with genetic genealogy.

While her own family roots are in Bloomington and the Quad Cities, her late husband’s family has deep Peoria roots which added to her passion for the history of her hometown, Peoria.
