Family History – Getting Started Orientation

FreeInterested in discovering your ancestors? Volunteers from the Peoria County Genealogical Society will be available to help you get started, or maybe even break down a brick wall. Orientations to the Peoria Local History and Genealogy Room will be given on the half hours starting at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Learn about this special section of the library and how to get started researching your family.
A quick overview of beginning steps will be presented every half hour from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Peoria’s Main Library, Lower Level 1, Classroom A.
All PCGS Monthly Meetings are free and open to the Public
Member Meetings typically occur the 2nd Thursday of each month from March to November.
