Using Digital Newspapers to Add to your Family History Story
November 14, 2024 at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm CST
FreeIrene Walters, Librarian at Houston Public Library’s Family History Research Center (remote speaker) will showcase how to use digital newspapers to enhance your family research.
You’ve got the facts of your family history from census, land, tax, probate, and other records. Now, it’s time to add some text to the family stories using the newspaper. Use this talk to find out about digital newspapers: how to find them, what to search for in them, and how to search for your relatives in them.
