Donations

Since 1973, the Peoria County Genealogical Society has dedicated its efforts and resources to promote and foster family history education, to research and publish genealogical information, and to share accumulated knowledge.

The Peoria County Genealogical Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that operates on a lean budget.  Donations to PCGS help support our operational costs in bringing members informative webinars, newsletters, and genealogical resources through our website. The PCGS General Fund appreciates every contribution. Your support will truly make a difference.

Please consider making a donation today -- no matter the amount. Thank you for supporting our mission and our work.

Making a Bequest or Estate Plan Gift

A bequest is a gift from your estate made through your estate plan or will. A bequest costs nothing now and enables you to contribute to the PCGS mission for current and future generations.

A bequest to the Peoria County Genealogical Society can be made for a specific amount, for a percentage of your estate, or for all or a portion of what is left after you have made bequests to your family.

By planning now to leave a gift for PCGS in your will, you help guarantee that our work continues for many years to come. Remembering the Peoria County Genealogical Society in your estate plans can help sustain and strengthen the PCGS mission to identify, preserve, and share the heritage of our Peoria County ancestors for future generations.

To make a gift to the Peoria County Genealogical Society from your estate or will, please consult with your estate planner or tax advisor about how to make the gift.

The Peoria County Genealogical Society is a 501(c)(3) organization, run by volunteers. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor if you have questions.
